FEATURE ARTIST
This week's feature artist was Brock Tyler. Currently based in Edmonton, Tyler was raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba and began cultivating his musical abilities at an early age, learning the trumpet, guitar, drums, and piano. In 2004 he released A Canvas for Clarity, a six song EP showcasing his gift for tightly-knit songwriting and a unique finger-picking style. It was in August 2005 that he began working on what was to become Unclosing, eventually releasing it in July 2007 after two years of sporadic and nomadic recording. Tyler will release his second full-length record in 2010. We featured Brock's song "Half a Day Past Noon" from his album "Unclosing."
