• Edmonton Music Awards - Nominate any artist from the Edmonton area, including St. Alberta, Sherwood Park, Leduc, Spruce Grove & Stony Plain. The eligibility period for the 2011 Edmonton Music Awards is between January 1, 2010 and December 31st, 2010. The only exception is the category for "Artist To Watch". This category is reserved for an artist with plans on releasing new material in 2010. Check out the EMA website for more details!
• Brian Webb Dancing Company presents: Prairie Dance Circuit! Friday November 19 – Nov 20th @ John L Haar Theatre @ Grant MacEwan College Arts Campus. 8pm $30, $20 for students/seniors.
• Plan Ahead – 2010 Grey Cup festival hits Churchill Square from November 25th to 28th. For whose playing when check out the link!

3. Edmonton Classical Guitar Society presents Irina Kulikova @ Muttart Hall. Show starts @ 8pm, tickets are $25.
   We featured Irina's song Sonatina Meridional #3 - Fiesta.

SATURDAY

1. 100 mile house @ the Black Dog Freehouse early show @ 4pm FREE
2. 100.3 The Bear presents Tupelo Honey @ Lyve on Whyte 7pm
3. Peter Belec CD Release @ the Yardbird Suite with Bob Tildesley & Jerrold Dubyk $14 for members, $18 for non members. 9pm
   We featured Peter's song Peter's Lullaby featuring Colleen Brown on vocals, off his new release.

FEATURE ARTIST

This week we featured the lovely and talented Marty Pawlina. Make sure to check out his sweet website. Marty is currently working on his debut album with Louis Sedmak, to be released on February 26th. He is the vice president on the board of U22, he is a well known graphic designer, and is currently taking part time music courses at Grant MacEwan college. Starting this March Marty is embarking on a western Canadian tour to last through to the summer months. Marty is definitely someone to watch out for in Edmonton's music scene! We featured his song Till I Met You.
