FEATURE ARTIST
This week we featured Jeff Stuart. Jeff plays with his band called the Hearts which is made up of Gavin Dunn, Dwayne Martineau, Chris Quesnel, Tim Resaul, and Michelle Sabourin. Jeff describes his sound as roots-pop. Other than playing the Folk Fest, Jeff was part of the TransCanada Alberta Music Series in Calgary at the EPCOR Centre for Performing Arts in March and Jeff recently represented the band at NXNE in June in Toronto.
"It's elegant, sophisticated, daring, and brilliantly creative, but more than anything, just as the band's name suggests, this music is indeed from the heart." -CKUA Presents: Alberta Discoveries, September, 2009
We featured Jeff's song Hold Out off his album Black Dog Blue Giants.

We'd love to hear from you, so please twitter us, facebook us, or email us at prairiebelles@gmail.com Until next time! xo
