FEATURE ARTIST
Our feature artist this week is Ray Mailman. A funk/soul/pop performer from Edmonton. Ray has transcended the realms of many genres to create his own eclectic style and groove. Using funk, rock, jazz, soul and pop influences in his music Ray appeals to a wide range of audiences in his high energy shows. Ray released his first EP titled Sideways in 2008. It's difficult to compare Ray to other artists, but comparisons have been made to Jason Mraz, Maroon 5, Jamiroquai and occasionally the Red Hot Chili Peppers. We think he sounds a bit like Jesse Peters! We featured his song called I Didn't Know. Don't forget to check out Ray's show at Axis Cafe on September 11th. Get your E-TICKETS today!

We'd love to hear from you, so please twitter usfacebook us, or email us at prairiebelles@gmail.com Until next time! xo
